Amphora Chardonnay 2022
United Kingdom, Shropshire
Chardonnay
RRP £30.00
Description
Whilst the use of amphora as a vessel to make this wine, plays an important role, the more defining feature of our winemaking method is what has become known as “Black Chardonnay” which is an age-old technique that embraces hyper oxidation of the juice before fermentation. The wine remains in terracotta amphora through fermentation by wild yeasts and nine months of maturation. This results in our ”White gold” Chardonnay with extraordinary pebble purity in expression and stability which will retain freshness and develop further complexity with age. Aromas and depth of lemon zest and white pear
