Description
A fresh, silky-smooth style of Blanc de Blancs. Lemon citrus, cantaloupe melon and proving dough fill the nose. The palate is medium-bodied, creamy textured and generous. A long finish with bright fruit clarity and a digestive biscuit note that lingers long.

Viticulture
2018 was heralded as “England’s Miracle Vintage’ by Jancis Robinson and is widely regarded as the benchmark vintage for ‘great’ years in the UK. A warm Summer with lower-than-usual diurnals caused very good ripeness in grapes across the UK.
Vinification
Following a gentle pressing to extract only the finest portion of juice. The 2018 Blanc de Blancs was vinified partially in stainless steel tanks and partially French oak barrel. Malolactic fermentation was carried out, with battonage on barrels from end of alcoholic fermentation to MLF completion in March 2019. Bottling took place on 27th August 2019 followed by second-fermentation and extended lees ageing.
