Railway Hill Rosé 2023

This delicate pink, Pinot Noir rosé has bright aromas of watermelon with hints of mint leaf and crushed strawberries. On the palate there is refreshing salinity, with crisp redcurrant and lime flavours and a delightfully smooth texture and mouth-feel.

Carefully picked Pinot Noir grapes were pressed and cold settled for 48 hours prior to racking. The juice underwent a long and slow fermentation in stainless tanks using aromatic yeasts.

This wine went through partial malolactic fermentation but spent time on yeast lees to build palate weight, before bottling in spring 2024.
