Vineyard

Located in the Test Valley, Hampshire, on shallow chalk soils, the three Black Chalk Vineyards (Rivers, The Levels and Hide) are perfectly situated for Sparkling wine production. All three are within 5 miles of the winery with a maximum height of 60m. Across the three sites we have 34 rootstock and clone combinations planted for Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. These are picked and processed separately to provide the maximum number of options at blending. This wine focuses particularly on Chardonnay clones 95, 121, 76 and 131.

Winemaker

Jacob Leadley, Zoë Driver

Vinification

Wines are aged for a minimum of 26 months on lees. Post-disgorgement, wines are held for a minimum of 6 months on cork before being released.
