Hencote Vineyard

In 2009 a hobby vineyard of 160 vines was planted on the Hencote Estate by Andrew and Dora Stevens. In 2015, after exhaustive studies, the vineyard was expanded to 24,000 vines to create a commercial wine making business to include its own on-site winery.

By 2019 the Estate had added a restaurant to the winery which enjoys a 180 degree view across the vines towards the town of Shrewsbury and the rolling Shropshire Hills beyond. 10 Glamping Lodges afford families of up to 6 to stay onsite and a fully refurbished 7-bedroom Georgian property was also enfolded into the Estates portfolio.
