WineGB South East

The largest proportion of UK vineyards, wineries and hectarage are in South East England, which covers Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey and all counties located south of London. Based on latest planting and hectarage figures, the South East has a total of some 2,173ha under vine, representing 59% of the total plantings in England. This region of vineyards is represented by WineGB South East. South East England is one of the UK’s warmest, driest and sunniest areas providing good conditions for high-quality cool-climate grape growing.
